چکیده
This paper represents the parametric effects on slump and compressive strength of aluminosilicate based Geopolymer concrete using by Taguchi method. A total nine mix proportions were considered to evaluate effect sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution, Solution/Binder (SB) ratio percentage superplasticizer. Results indicated that highest 165 mm 28 days 68.37 MPa was obtained for with superplasticizer, Solution Binder extra water) parameters. By selected (Signal-to-Noise (SN) graphs, best combination parameters properties also obtained. The partially replaced silica fume rice husk ash. inclusion additional (in form ash as Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) replacement), most significantly influenced properties.

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
The Pore Characteristics of Geopolymer Foam Concrete and Their Impact on the Compressive Strength and Modulus
The pore characteristics of geopolymer foam concretes (GFCs) manufactured in the laboratory with 0–16% foam additions were examined using image analysis (IA) and vacuum water saturation techniques. The pore size distribution, pore shape, and porosity were obtained. The IA method provides a suitable approach to obtain the information of large pores, which are more important in affecting the comp...

The paper presents the effect of different synthesis parameters, such as (a) fly ash to alkaline solution ratio, (b) concentration of NaOH solution, (c) concentration of sodium silicate solution, (d) geopolymer solids to water ratio and (e) sodium silicate to sodium hydroxide solution ratio, on the compressive strength of geopolymer concrete synthesized from fly ash of Indian origin. It is obse...
متن کاملEffect of Superplasticizer and NaOH Molarity on Workability, Compressive Strength and Microstructure Properties of Self-Compacting Geopolymer Concrete
The research investigates the effects of super plasticizer and molarity of sodium hydroxide alkaline solution on the workability, microstructure and compressive strength of self compacting geopolymer concrete (SCGC). SCGC is an improved way of concreting execution that does not require compaction and is made by complete elimination of ordinary Portland cement content. The parameters studied wer...
